Zachary had his Pre-K Mardi Gras parade today. I feel like a horrible mother. I only went to the parade because I kept Evan and AJ home from school today. (They have had a stomach virus.) I didn't decorate a "float" for Zac and didn't send beads for him to throw, so he ended up carrying the class banner. As you can tell from the pictures, many of the parents go a little "overboard" when decorating for a Pre-K parade. (Notice the pirate ship followed by the mermaid.) Everyone seem to enjoy the parade. Evan is obviously feeling better because he caught a ton of beads, but AJ cried most of the time. I have a feeling that we are finshed with Mardi Gras for 2009.
